Dear Year 12 Families and Students

As this significant chapter of your journey comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Year 12 parents for your unwavering support. Your trust in the College to guide, nurture, and educate your children has been invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for the partnership we’ve shared in shaping their futures. To our Year 12 students, we acknowledge and appreciate the unique contributions each of you has made to the life of the College. Whether through academic pursuits, co-curricular involvement, leadership, or simply being a supportive friend, you have all left a lasting impact. As you prepare to leave us, we wish you every success in the future. 

For those in VCE VM, your secondary school journey has now concluded, and we look forward to celebrating your continued growth and achievements. For those about to embark on their VCE exams, we stand by you every step of the way. Remember, while these exams are important milestones, they are only one part of your broader journey. You are far more than a set of results, and we are confident in your ability to succeed in whatever comes next. Best of luck to all of you!

Class of 2024

This moment marks the end of one of the most formative periods of your lives, and as you prepare to step beyond the school gates for the final time, take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come. Over the past years, you’ve faced numerous challenges, grown in ways that will shape your future and embraced opportunities that have expanded your horizons. You’ve not only navigated the academic pressures of study, exams, and assessments, but you’ve also built friendships, forged memories, and shown tremendous resilience in the face of global and personal uncertainties. These experiences have contributed to the remarkable individuals you are today, each of you with unique talents, skills, and stories to tell.

Now, as you embark on the next chapter of your journey, remember that the lessons you’ve learned—both in and out of the classroom—will continue to guide you. The values you’ve upheld, the friendships you’ve nurtured, and the knowledge you’ve gained will be your compass as you move forward. Take pride in your accomplishments, but also embrace the excitement of the unknown. The future is full of endless possibilities, and while the road ahead may sometimes feel uncertain, trust in yourself and the foundation you’ve built during your time here.

As you look to the future, remember that success comes in many forms. Whether you’re heading into further studies, entering the workforce, or taking time to explore new paths, your potential is limitless. Keep your curiosity alive, continue to learn, and follow the passions that truly inspire you. Don’t be afraid to take risks or to fail—these are often the stepping stones to growth and discovery. And always stay true to who you are. The world will present you with many choices, but your integrity, kindness, and courage will guide you in making the right ones.

Though your time as a student here is coming to an end, you will always be part of the College’s legacy. You have each contributed something special to our community, and we will miss your energy, your ideas, and your leadership. But as one chapter ends, another begins. Embrace this new phase of life with confidence, knowing that you carry with you the skills, values, and support of those who have been by your side throughout these years.
