Kitchen Garden

Last Tuesday it was lovely to see the grandparents/special people visit Kitchen Garden with 3A. Some visitors chose to go out in the garden and others stayed in the kitchen.
During Kitchen Garden sessions students have created delicious sausage rolls, soda bread with herb butter and broad bean dip. You can find the recipes below.
Students have been busy in the garden:
- Harvesting broad beans and herbs.
- Creating a strawberry patch.
- Planting zucchini, basil, cucumbers, sunflowers and tomatoes.
- Caring for the chickens.
- Watering.
Our chicken nesting boxes have been repaired over the weekend by Belinda Schodde. Thank you Belinda for volunteering your time. They look fabulous!
