As we approach the end of the school year, teachers will be reminding students about the importance of upholding our school’s values and expected behaviours every day. This is a great time to reflect on how respect, responsibility, and resilience guide us in all that we do.
Consistent messaging at home and at school is key to lasting positive change, as it reinforces the behaviors we all strive to uphold, helping our students develop strong, lifelong habits. Whether in the classroom, the playground, or around the school, continuing to show kindness, supporting each other, and keeping our environment safe and welcoming will be our primary focus areas. By keeping our standards high, we can end the year on a positive note, celebrating our achievements and the progress we’ve made together.
Above are Skye Primary School's 10 Expected Behaviours. Please take a few moments to ask your child how they demonstrate these behaviours both at school and at home and why displaying these behaviours is so important.
