Over the course of Term 3 and Term 4, selected Year 10 students took part in the NSW Health "Breathe Easy All Together" (B.E.A.T) Program, an initiative by NSW Health that aims to educate youth about the dangers of vaping. Students completed a six-hour workshop delivered by NSE Health on the dangers of vaping and its impact on health before delivering these important lessons to our Year 7 students. By stepping into teaching and leadership roles, they demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while helping raise awareness about making safe and informed choices. Their efforts not only strengthened community understanding around the risks of vaping, but also showed how young people can positively influence their peers and contribute to a healthier, more informed College community. Well done to those Year 10 students, we are proud of you

Our Year 6 students took part in a special taster led by Mr Pearn, Head of Wellbeing K-12 & Ms Bou-MELHEM, Leader of Engagement K-12. The lesson focused on wellbeing and positive engagement as they prepare for their transition to secondary school. A highlight of the session was meeting their Peer Support Leaders, who offered guidance, encouragement, and friendly advice to help them feel supported on the journey ahead.
With growing confidence and a strong sense of connection, our future Year 7s are well on their way to a smooth and exciting start to high school!

Maronite College of the Holy Family are incredibly proud to announce that our MCHF Mock Trial Team are the runners-up in the Law Society’s State-Wide Mock Trial Grand Final against Chevalier College!
This year, our team made MCHF history as the first-ever team to reach the Grand Final — an extraordinary milestone that we are exceptionally proud of!
This incredible achievement caps off a year of undefeated success against schools such as James Ruse Agricultural College, Parramatta Marist, Parramatta High School, Trinity Grammar, Knox Grammar, The Ponds, and more.
The team showed exceptional resilience and commitment, often preparing during assessment weeks and busy school periods, always supporting one another and working together with unity and purpose.
The Grand Final showcased outstanding talent. The team argued a criminal case of negligence, appearing as the prosecution, carrying the responsibility of proving the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Outstanding Performances all year with students being versatile with roles: Our barristers Chris S and Gabriella M were exceptional, delivering powerful objections and razor-sharp cross-examinations. Chloe R, our dedicated solicitor, whose support, organisation, and guidance helped streamline the case and assist the barristers throughout the competition. Our witnesses Leila B and George E held themselves with remarkable composure under pressure, strengthening the prosecution’s case at every turn. A flawless Magistrates Clerk, Jonah B, who also played a brilliant Barrister in many previous cases. And a huge thank you to Jason A and Raphael S for their dedication to research and case prep behind the scenes, with various roles such as solicitor and witness.
As their coach, I could not be prouder of how they have grown into brilliant young advocates and an even stronger team. This team has left a legacy that will inspire Mock Trial students for years to come. They proved that with belief in each other, discipline, and heart, our students can stand confidently on any stage, no matter how big.
Congratulations once again to our amazing MCHF Mock Trial Team — you have represented our college with excellence, integrity, and passion. WE ARE SO PROUD!
