Club de Español

This week at the Spanish Club we ran a fun and creative activity making mini piñatas. The children could choose from different shapes, una piña (pineapple), una fresa (strawberry), una sandía(watermelon), or un arcoíris(rainbow).  After selecting their favourite design, they assembled their piñatas and added three lollies inside, before sealing them.

They then decorated them with colourful tissue paper and attached a string so they could hang them up at home. The kids stayed engaged the whole time and enjoyed chatting with each other in Spanish, which helped them practise the language in a natural and playful way.

It was a cheerful, hands-on activity that combined creativity with language learning, and everyone went home feeling proud of their little piñata creations.
