Chatham Happenings

On Friday 28th November the Junior School Council hosted a Pyjama Day. Students were encouraged to come to school dressed in their pyjamas and to bring a teddy bear for a teddy bear picnic at lunchtime. The students had so many bright and colourful pyjamas and robes on. The teddy bear picnic at lunch eating time was done on the oval and it was fantastic to see all the different year levels eat lunch together.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

On Thursday 11th December, the Junior School Council hosted a Disney Disco Day. Students were invited to dress up as their favourite Disney (or Pixar) character. There was a parade in the hall in the morning, hosted by the Junior School Council, and it was wonderful to see all the parents and visitors attend this parade. Each year level proudly showcased their fabulous costumes, while a Disney or Pixar song was playing.

After the parade, there was a series of Disney (and Pixar) themed discos. These discos were run by the Junior School Council and had a series of activities during them, such as musical statues and best dancers. The students were enthusiastic throughout these discos and performed amazing dance moves.

Well done to the Junior School Council for organising and running not only this event, but all their events this year.
