Congratulations Nevah who read a Book with a Face on the cover, entered last month's Challenge. Students and staff had a blast seeing teachers faces on book covers last month. It brought lots of laughs and sparked great conversations about books. Thanks to all the teachers who joined in the fun!
This month’s challenge is all about feelings! Read a book and rate it using an emoji—did it make you laugh 😂, cry 😢, or feel brave 💪?Once you've submitted your emoji rating, you’ll go into the draw to win a prize from the prize box! One lucky winner will be drawn at random at the end of the month.
Book Club catalogues have been sent home—don’t forget to take a look! Orders close Friday, 9th May. Every book purchased earns us credits to buy even more books for our school library, so your support goes a long way!
THANK YOU to the families who have donated books to our library. Your kindness helps our shelves stay full and diverse, giving every student more to discover.
I really appreciate the effort that library books are being returned on time—you're helping keep the library running smoothly for everyone! A special thanks to those who have paid for lost books—your support ensures all students can continue to borrow and enjoy reading.
If you have any questions about your child’s library book, feel free to pop in and see me, or you can email me; tarnia.mathieson@education.vic.gov.au.
Don’t forget—the library is open Friday morning's from 8:15 to 8:45am for quiet reading. Student's are welcome to come in with an adult and enjoy a peaceful start to the day surrounded by books.
Hope to see you in the Library one Friday Morning.
Tarnia.
