The Power of Reading at home with your children:
This infographic highlights the powerful benefits of reading at home with your child. Backed by research, it shows how regular reading supports language development, boosts academic success, strengthens family bonds, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Just a few minutes a day can make a big difference!
NAPLAN Results:
When will NAPLAN results be available? Parents and carers will typically receive their child’s NAPLAN results at the start of Term 3, around June. These results provide a snapshot of your child’s progress in literacy and numeracy and help guide future learning. The school will send home an individual student report once results are released.
Numeracy Reporting Changes:
What's new in maths reports?
From this year, your child’s maths report will show just one overall progression point for their learning in maths, rather than separate results for each area (like Number or Measurement).
This change is part of the new Victorian Maths Curriculum and is designed to:
Teachers will still be closely tracking your child’s progress across all parts of maths in the classroom, and this change just simplifies how that learning is shared with you.
