Whole School Waste Audit

Last week the whole school did a waste audit of all landfill general rubbish, paper and cardboard, comingled recycling and compost. Emily Condon from ResourceSmart came and assisted us with the audit.

Most of our waste was already sorted into the correct bins but we still had to separate the comingled recycling from the paper and carboard for auditing purposes. Once sorted, everything was weighed. The data is yet to be compared and analysed against our waste audit from 2021. Have we reduced our waste? Watch this space.
