Performances: Open Morning 14th May & Night of Music 6th September

Corelli Strings play in assembly

Corelli Strings is for string players in their second year of playing. Most children started learning their instruments last year through the Start Up Strings. This year, Corelli Strings is a large group of 31: 23 violinists, 7 cellists and 1 bassist. They rehearse before school on Mondays. We are proud of how they are coming together as a group.

On Monday 24th March, Corelli Strings performed in assembly. It was really exciting to play in front of the whole school!

Beautifully announced by Felix (3O) and Maja (3M), the ensemble played two pieces by Dale Brubaker: “Spanish Dancer” was performed with a lively energy and convincing dynamics. “War Dance” was performed with an earthy power and strong tempo.
