1. German Exchange Trip.

Information evening Tuesday May 6th at 5pm in the school library, for students currently studying German in Years 8, 9, and 10.

Planning for next year’s trip, 2026, to our sister schools near Marburg in Germany is starting. You will receive more information in the coming days about the trip and the information evening via XUNO. The trip will take place over the Easter break 2026 and run for 4 weeks. If you would like more information at this stage, please contact one of the German teachers – Frau Ray, Frau Nash, Frau Branell, Frau James or Herr Skelic.

2. Post mit Herz (Mail with Heart)

Students in junior German classes have been writing Easter greeting cards to residents of an aged care facility north of Hamburg in Germany. The elderly residents may sometimes be lonely and hopefully our colourful cards will brighten their days. We hope to send 80 cards! The students have embraced this idea with much kindness and care. Thank you to the students who put so much effort into making these cards.

3. BJR exchange expression of interest forms are due during the holidays for students in years 9 and10 learning German.

4. Host a SAGSE student and receive an interview for one of these prestigious scholarships. Last chance!
