VISUAL ARTS

In week 8 of this term, two Year 9 VCD classes went to the Geelong Tech School for the day, as part of the Visual Arts program.
This free excursion taught them the skills to use the Illustrator software to create a “snow globe” scene in four layers. Some students completed alternate projects.
All projects were laser cut quickly out of cardboard, to show the prototyping that is possible using this technology.
The students were engaged, learnt skills fast, and came home with some creative final products.
A selection of the work is shown here.
