The PFA group meeting held at school on Tuesday 4th celebrated the great events that have taken place already this year.
Fundraising
So far with the Easter Raffle, Trivia Night (photos below!) and Special Lunch Day combined, Parents and Friends have raised $5,200 for the school! We are well on our way to matching the $11,500 raised last year. These funds are channelled straight back into the school for improvements that will directly benefit our children, like updates to the yard and play spaces.

A massive thank you to Jenny, Vaughan and their team for a very successful Trivia Night. Thank you also to all the volunteers who supported the 100 year celebration at school, including working bee organisers and helpers, cookie makers, lunch packers, morning tea providers and servers.
In the works…
Lots of potential upcoming events to be organised and supported by the PFA in the months to come, including:
- Walkathon - term 3
- Disco in the hall for year levels
- Special Footy Lunch week
Graduation
The PFA have been discussing Grade 6 Graduation with the school. This year, we are looking at having the Grade 5 parents volunteer to serve the graduation dinner. This would need to involve 6-8 parents. We are hoping to establish this as a tradition at the school, for grade 5 families to support grade 6 graduation in this simple way. More information to come.
