Before and After School Supervision

We have noticed students are arriving to our College very early.  While we appreciate that students are eager to arrive at school, our grounds are supervised by school staff from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. Outside of these times, students are not to enter buildings without staff approval. 

Students who may wish to attend school outside of these hours are expected to attend the Malgobila LRC which is open between 3.15pm and 5.00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays for study sessions. Students on College grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they are attending a supervised extracurricular activity). 

Parents/carers are requested to ensure that students do not arrive early or stay late after school unless they are attending a pre-arranged supervised activity (for example study sessions, music practice).

Collecting students during the day

Reminder to parents and carers that a note must be provided to students for them to give to their teacher when they are to meet you at reception at a specific time for collection during the school day.

Please note that students can only be collected by parents/carers/family listed as Family or Emergency Contacts.  Authorisation from the primary parents/carers must be provided for another person to collect your student from school.

Car parking at the College

As you can imagine with over 1150 students entering and leaving the College grounds each day it gets super busy out on McKean St! Our first concern is always for our students safety and with the congestion of cars out the front we do worry about kids crossing the road safely.

Just a reminder to parents/carers - it is illegal to park in the centre median strip. The street is the responsibility of the East Gippsland Shire and heads up - council rangers have and will check periodically. If you do park on the median strip you may incur a fine and we would not like to see your day end on a bad note. Best way to avoid a fine is to not park there.
