Emotions: Feelings such as happiness, sadness, fear, excitement or worry. 


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Think about a time that you felt a strong emotion such as anger or fear. Discuss whether this emotion was a ‘helpful’ or ‘unhelpful’ response to a situation. 

 

Create a ‘strategy tool box’ by recording some strategies you could use to help calm you down when feeling a strong emotion in the future.
