VOCABULARY

Information Text: A nonfiction text that tells facts about a specific topic. 

Structure: The way the text is arranged such as title, sizzling start, paragraphs. 

Features: Different components included in the text such as contents page, glossary, diagrams, maps. 

Purpose: The reason the text is written. An information text is written to inform.
