Heads of House 

The leaders of 2025 are emerging. It’s the time of year where schools begin the process of allowing Year 11 to step up and commence their leadership journey. This is certainly the case at Mt A. This week, our 2025 seniors were given three words of wisdom as they prepare themselves to lead their cohort, House and the College community. 

Tradition: What are the traditions of the College that we value and must continue and what new tradition might make our College a better place?

Privilege: Leadership is a privilege and not a right. What reminders do we need to always ensure our leadership comes from the privilege of the position?

Entitlement: Are there elements of senior tradition that have emerged from a sense of entitlement? Should we, and how do we, let these go?

A perfect time for ‘blue sky thinking’ in this beautiful city at this time of year. We are so excited to watch this new group of leaders emerge.
