ABC Studios
ABC Studios is excited to share the latest season of the podcast Parental as Anything. This season is entirely focused on teens and tweens, addressing the unique challenges faced by this age group—a topic very familiar to secondary schools.
We believe this season could be a valuable resource for parents in our community. It’s not only free but also offers support and reassurance that you’re not alone in navigating these years. The episodes are both uplifting and relatable.
In particular last week’s episode focuses on loss of connection with guest Dr Justin Coulson.
Many of the topics cover the grey area where parenting meets educational programs in schools: like the episode on teens and alcohol and the risk of loss of potential with Paul Dillon from DARTA; and also navigating friendships and ‘bad influences’.
Host Bec Sparrow talks to teens in schools around the country and is a sympathetic parent to a teen, so she knows what she understands these issues from a school and parent perspective.
