Work Experience

Term 2 has been a remarkable period for all our Work Experience students at PSC. Krystal, Jimmy, Charles, and Tawhiri attended Woolworths Hastings, while Charlie packed coffee beans at Little Rebel Coffee Roasters. Rori assisted with stock replenishment and facing up the shelves at Tyabb IGA. Carter spent his placement at the Rosebud Library. Sammy worked at Moonah Links Golf Course, where he was involved in the pro shop and grounds keeping. Kai has been busy landscaping with a local business.

Tom had a couple of days at Woolworths in Mornington. Summah has been baking and packaging items at Josephine’s Sweet Treats in Crib Point. Alex worked outdoors at Peninsula Tall Trees, he was in his element. Mackenzie stepped out of her comfort zone to work at Dromana IGA, stocking shelves. Jai has been working in the bakery at Woolworths in Rosebud Plaza, packaging various bakery items and making friends with the locals.

Matylda, Max, Rory, and Lachlan have been busy helping at the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Rosebud. Rose has been assisting with children at Lyndel Childcare Centre.

Each and every one of these students should be extremely proud of themselves for stepping out of their comfort zones. We have received amazing feedback from all employers, praising our students for conducting themselves maturely and professionally.

We look forward to placing more students in Term 3 and extend our heartfelt thanks to the businesses and employers for their support.
