Class 13

It is with great pleasure that I share with parents and carers about the progress of Class 13 for the first Semester in 2024. Students recently eagerly presented their Passion Projects displaying their computer and research skills.  They shared with the class individual areas of interest and all students greatly enjoyed this topic within the Literacy Curriculum.

Bush Walking is an area that Class 13 have excelled in.  Most mornings they can be seen walking through the bush and are regularly displaying the skills of staying with the group, waiting for others to catch up and negotiating extremely tricky pathways.  At the end of this walk the students have some time to use the playground equipment, or, just to spend time with their friends in the fresh air.  Literacy, Numeracy and Handwriting are also being worked on each day in class.  This is done using worksheets, games, board work and Lap Tops.  Progress is being made in all areas.

Students continue to discuss and study the College Values on a regular basis.  They are making progress within the areas of; being a learner, being respectful, being safe and being responsible.  The new topic this Term of Sex Education, is an area where they are successfully learning age appropriate information relative to their individual stages of development.  Students are displaying their maturity as they learn this part of the School Curriculum and are demonstrating appropriate behaviour during these classes.  Friday is the day where we discuss Random Acts of Kindness and we are proud of the kind acts that are regularly displayed within the classroom towards teachers and others.

Thankyou to all the Class 13 students for your hard work this Semester and we look forward to seeing more great work next Semester.
