Class 7

On Thursday 13th of June, our class ventured to MOPA (Museum of Play and Art) in Sandringham. We traveled by bus to MOPA with Keryn as our driver, Emma as our navigator and Hayley as our music director! Mon was the keeper of our lunches!

We were provided with our own room to put our lunch and belongings in. We also had a welcome talk by 2 of MOPA’s guides.

We were shown different spaces that had lots of fun things to do. Tommy really enjoyed the car tracks where he could put his dinosaurs into a carriage and sent them down the “hilly track”. Olive loved the dance area, where she wore a pink tutu and showed off her dance moves. Aria made lots of wonderful drawings in the circle of drawing. Tyler spent a lot of time in the area with the air pipes and balls. Alaynah’s favorite time was dressing up and standing on the stage. We also went into a quiet area to read a book called ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’, which we all enjoyed.

We had a fantastic day at MOPA! We hope that we might be able to go back with our families one day and show them all the fun things we saw.
