ALL WELCOME – WORSHIP AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday morning for worship. Worship times are 8:30am for a Traditional Service and 10:00am for a more Contemporary service with Godly Play on offer for primary school aged children. Tea and Coffee and a time of gathering is held most weeks after both worship services. On the first Sunday of the month, we join together in one service, with a blended style of worship.

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week in the Bible reading Jesus talks about Christians being his brothers and sisters.  Christians receive, through Jesus, a whole new family to love and care for them as they in turn love and care for others.

“Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35)

Mealtime Prayer: Round this table here to pray, first we thank you for the day. For our family and our friends, gifts of grace that heaven lends. Amen.

Prayer: Lord God, thank you for the gift of family. Help us to remain united, serving you and loving one another.  Amen.

Blessing: (Child’s name) May you always know you are a child of God.  Amen.

PASTY BAKES

Pasties are back for Winter 2024! The next bake is this Thursday 6 June.  Pasties are $15 for a half dozen.  Put your order through to Renate on 0405 433 030 or contact Kylie in the Church Office on 8262 4690 or office@stpaul-church.org.au to arrange payments and pick up. Funds raised go towards the work of St Paul Lutheran Church.

COLIN IN CONCERT

Colin Buchanan is coming to Golden Grove Lutheran Church and Primary School as part of his National Tour.  Don’t know who Colin is?  Colin was a much-loved presenter on Play School from 1993 -2005, but for over 20 years, he has been writing Christian songs aimed at children, introducing them to God and his love and basic concepts of the Bible.  He is a worldwide phenomenon and is also Australia’s most successful solo Christian artist.  You may know songs like ‘Jesus Rocks the World’, ‘Hooley Dooley Wop Bam Boom’ and ‘Christ the King of Christmas’. His shows are great fun, highly energised and entertaining and they consistently sell out.  To find out more, scan the QR code below or visit his website.
