The last few weeks have allowed Year 7 to share their many talents. Our creative Year 7 students have been busy choreographing dances in PDHPE and working on their portraits in Art. Students had a great time at the Athletics Carnival and all of our cohort enjoyed interacting with the senior students during Peer Support last week. Students engaged in a range of outdoor activities with their Peer Support group last Tuesday. Over the past four weeks Year 7 students have also had the opportunity to attend class masses on Thursday mornings at 8am in the chapel with Father Rex.
This week’s focus from our Resilience Project Pastoral lesson was ‘Gratitude’. Students learned about the importance of being grateful for all we have in our lives. I’d like to share my gratitude for the generosity Year 7 students and their carers displayed with their donations for Refugee Week.
