June, 2024 - FACT: Those who have goals are 10 times more likely to succeed than those without goals
It has been a great few weeks as our students are preparing for upcoming assessment tasks and exams and continuing their research into suitable options post school. The students of our College are fortunate to be exposed to a number of opportunities to explore where their future may be following their HSC and to help them to make informed choices. Some of our Year 12 students recently visited UOW where they explored pathways to careers in Nursing and Business. Students participated in a number of simulated workshops and discovered what university has to offer in these faculty areas.
Another great achievement this term was the success of our School Based Trainee, Caitlin Schneider. Caitlin was recently announced as the 2024 SBAT Student of the Year for the Southern and South Western Sydney Region. Caitlin is employed by Ramsay Health where she works as Assistant Nurse at Kareena Hospital whilst completing a Certificate III in Health Services Assistant - all whilst completing her Higher School Certificate. Well done Caitlin!!
