Nikki Stuart

The Primary Cross Country team concluded their season with grit, determination and amazing resilience to battle through the rain and cold at Rokeby Police Academy on Thursday. The team had raced there before, in the earlier STCPSSA Carnival, but conditions we much more challenging on the heavy track.  Congratulations to all the team for all their efforts, and to the 16 runners who also made the trip up to Symmons Plains to compete in the All Schools Cross Country on Tuesday.

Big congratulations to Year 4 student, Olivia Ribbon who was the winner in the JSSATIS Year 4 Girls event.  It was a wonderful result for Olivia, after being narrowly defeated on the finish line at the STCPSSA event, and having a nasty fall at the start of the All Schools event.  Special mention to Top 10 finishers:

  • Olivia Ribbon, Year 4 – Winner JSSATIS, 2nd STCPSSA
  • Olivea Lum, Year 3 – 3rd JSSATIS, 10th STCPSSA
  • Shanaya Prajit, Year 4 – 4th STCPSSA, 7th JSSATIS
  • Grace Nosworthy, Year 6 – 7th STCPSSA
  • Anna Thickett, Year 4 – 9th STCPSSA
  • Mila McLennan, Year 4 – 9th JSSATIS
  • Olive Hall, Year 5 – 9th STCPSSA
