Year 9 Elective History

This term, Year 9 Elective History students have been learning about the Norse people otherwise known as the Vikings. To prepare, students have studied all aspects of Norse life from funerary practices, wars and weaponry and everyday life. The students came together and produced 14 amazing recreations of artefacts with supporting evidence and taught their peers from various year groups their significance. Visitors to the museum were able to interact with the artefacts by holding them and even wearing them.

Well done Year 9 Elective History on a great range of artefacts that showcase your understanding! A very special thank you to Mr O’Brien and Mr Douglass for helping with table set up in the morning and to all teachers who brought their classes over and even helped some students in the creation process.
