POSTAGE STAMPS WANTED

St Joseph's is collecting used postage stamps for charity. The stamps are sent to a group of volunteers in Sydney who sort the stamps. The used stamps are sold at auctions to collectors and the money raised is donated to Mary MacKillop Today to assist their work, walking alongside people and communities at the margins in Australia and internationally in the spirit of Saint Mary MacKillop.

It's simple - no need to soak the stamp off the envelope - just trim the stamp off leaving a generous margin of envelope all around the stamp (please don't trim too close to the stamp).

They also accept unusual envelopes and covers. In this case, don't trim the stamps off, just send the whole envelope.

Stamp albums, first day issues, stamp catalogues etc, are also gratefully accepted.

To date, the group has raised over $520,000 to donate to Mary MacKillop Today.

Donations of used stamps will be collected at the front office.
