Student Achievement

Congratulations to Mia P in Year 12 who was recently named a finalist in the Hunter Central Coast Region School Based Traineeship/Apprenticeship Awards. Mia has completed a Certificate III in Health Services as part of her school based traineeship which she commenced in 2023 in conjunction with the HSC. This Certificate III gives Mia direct entry to study Nursing at the University of New England.

Trainees are nominated by their TAFE teachers for these awards and must achieve 100% in all of their assignments and complete 800 hours of work placement. The nominees then progress to an interview round, and from this the Top 5 Finalists are chosen. Congratulations Mia, on this outstanding achievement.

Congratulations to Jack D in Year 9, who is representing NSW at the Polocrosse Nationals, in Chinchilla QLD. Jack is playing in the Junior Mixed Division and his team had a win in their first game yesterday! We wish Jack and his team the best of luck for the remainder of the week.
