NSW Primary School Zone Chess Competition
Our St Xavier's chess players put on a great show last week.
Congratulations to our St Xavier’s A Team for winning the inter-school chess tournament. Our players showed incredible focus and strategy across eight tough rounds of chess against nine rival schools to bring home the victory. This fantastic win is a direct result of the team's hard work, dedication, and practice. The entire school community is incredibly proud of your achievement and outstanding sportsmanship!
Team Colours Day
Students are invited to wear colours of their favourite sporting team to school. Please note, not fottball boots or spikes. Also some students will be competing in the High Jump Final, so will need appropriate clothes.
IMPORTANT- Allergy Aware- School Lunches
St Xavier's is an Allergy Aware School. We have a number of students who have severe and mild allergies to both eggs, peanuts and tree nuts. Please be very conscious of this when packing your child's lunch. The smallest traces can cause a severe anaphylactic reaction. We ask that you do not pack eggs, Nutella, peanut butter, other nut butters and nut bars etc for your child to consume at school. Thank you for your understanding.
Pupil Free Days
Please note that there will be no school for students on the following days:
- Monday 20th July
- Tuesday 21st July
- Monday 12th October
Medication Alert
A reminder to parents that ALL medication should be handed into the office, it must not be kept in your child's bag. Any medication must be provided in it's original packaging with written (or emailed) instructions for administration.
All new or updated Medical Plans must be shared with our Office. It is a legal requirement that we have the most recent plan in place. This is of course for the safety and well being of our students.
