This term, Carlingford West students have been enthusiastically building their athletics skills through a range of exciting events including shot put, discus, and high jump. Each session begins with energetic skipping rope warm ups, helping students develop coordination, rhythm, and fitness in a fun and engaging way. It has been wonderful to see the students continue to grow in confidence and skill with both skipping and athletics
Round 4 of PSSA was cancelled last Friday due to the wet grounds.
Due to the rain, Boys basketball and football and Girls touch football was cancelled due to the rain.
On Monday, June 1, students from Carlingford West in Years 1 to 6 will proudly represent the school at the NSW Table Tennis Championships at Sydney Olympic Park.
Competing in exciting doubles matches against schools from across the state, students will showcase their teamwork, skill and sportsmanship throughout the day.
All participating students are asked to meet outside the School Hall at 7:30am before departing for the event. We are incredibly proud of all students involved and wish them the very best of luck for a fun and successful day of competition.

Table Tennis lessons will be offered by Paul Zhao's Table Tennis Academy before and after school at Carlingford West Public School on Tuesday and Thursday morning and afternoon. Catering for beginner to advanced standards.
Duration of each session will be 45 minutes and will be held in the School Hall corridor.
These sessions will be held before (8.30 ~ 9.15 am) also after (3.30 ~ 4.15 pm) school on Tuesdays or Thursdays from Week 1.
