Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation Week 2026- ALL IN

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) was held from 27 May – 3 June 2026. This year’s theme, “All In”, encouraged all Australians to work together towards reconciliation and a stronger understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures.

NRW provides an important opportunity for our school community to learn, reflect and celebrate. The week is held between two significant dates in Australia’s history:

  • 27 May – the anniversary of the 1967 Referendum

  • 3 June – the anniversary of the Mabo Decision

Throughout the week, students engaged in a range of learning experiences that encouraged them to explore different perspectives on reconciliation. Classes participated in activities such as reading and discussing stories, listening to music, learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and reflecting on ways we can contribute to a more inclusive and respectful future. These experiences helped students deepen their understanding of the importance of reconciliation.
