Division Cross Country Success

Nineteen BEPS students recently represented our school at the Division Cross Country Championships, competing against students from schools around the area. Conditions were extremely challenging, with wet, cold and windy weather making for a tough day of racing.

Despite the conditions, all of our students competed admirably and demonstrated our school value of resilience, showing determination and perseverance throughout their races.

A special congratulations goes to Ryan in Year 6 and Sienna in Year 5, who both achieved outstanding top-10 finishes in their respective events. Their results have earned them a place at the Regional Cross Country Championships, which will be held on 11 June at Yarra Valley Racecourse. We wish them the very best of luck!

Several other BEPS runners were also incredibly close to qualifying, with three students finishing in 12th, 12th and 13th places in their races.

Overall, it was a tremendous day for BEPS, and we are extremely proud of the effort, sportsmanship and resilience shown by all of our students.
