Principal's Report

Prep 2024 Orientation

This week marked our third of four transition sessions for our 2023 Preps. These sessions have been incredibly successful, with our newest little community members settled and excited to become a part of our wonderful school. Next week will see our fourth and final session occur; where our new Prep cohort will spend some time with their new teacher and with their 2024 classmates. Make sure to say hello if you see a new family in the yard and welcome to our amazing community. 

2024 Class Placements

Next week, our teachers will be speaking to their classes about selecting three learning friends for next year. An emphasis is always placed on choosing people that are good for our learning rather than our friendship groups.

Our Years 1-6 Step-Up morning will be held on Monday 18th December 2023. This day will be an opportunity to spend time in their new classrooms, with their new teachers and begin to weave the social fabric of their classroom community for 2024.

Canteen

A huge thank you Nicole Marson and the Community Engagement Team for their commitment to re-opening the canteen for the remainder of the year. The canteen will offering icy-poles and frozen yogurt. Orders can be pre-purchased on Qkr, or cash sales are available on the day.

End of Year Picnic

Our FNPS End of Year Picnic is scheduled for Thursday 7 December 4-7pm. The event will include a sausage sizzle and drinks – pre-ordering is currently available on Quickr.
