2023 Highlights

2023 has been a year of great achievements for our Student Representative Council.

There has been a strong connection between student ideas, class meetings and SRC meetings. As a result, there have been many initiatives that have impacted across the school and broader community over the past 12 months

Key achievements have been:

  • Our first SRC camp to develop leadership skills;
  • Added a Concord Beanie to our school uniform;
  • Acknowledged the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence;
  • Raised money for the Royal Children’s Hospital;
  • Hosted a Pyjama Day to raise money for the Pyjama Foundation;
  • SRC representatives have worked closely with their Student Wellbeing & Engagement Leaders on a variety of section-based activities, including hosting assemblies, speeches at events and talking to guests to school.

Thank you to Karen Jordan (SRC Secretary) for all your help during the year but most of all thank you our fantastic SRC students.

SEE YOU IN 2024!

As the 2023 school year ends, I couldn’t be any prouder to be part of the Concord School community.  I have seen all the students mature, develop independence and improve their skills across various contexts.

I wish to thank all the Concord School staff, our parents and carers, and the extended support networks that continue to enable our students in becoming the best they can be.

I wish you all a safe and relaxing break and look forward to 2024!
