Term 4 Week 8
Well, week 8 is here and at it's end ! We only have 3 weeks left of the 2023 school year and it is going to be jam packed as usual with all things fun for our children and families here at New Adventure.
Please keep a keen eye on your inbox next week as all the information for 2024 will be coming.
Our new preps will also receive enrolment packs in their transition sessions next week.
CHRISTMAS WEEK 18th -22nd Dec
Bookings are open on Hubhello for Christmas week 18th to 22nd December.
If you are still working or need an extra day to shop or wrap - book now !!!! This week is proving to be very popular.
Christmas week will include crafts, cooking, a visit to Hoyts to watch the New Trolls movie and finishing on Friday with our Christmas Party !!

What have we been up to in the last two weeks ?
Last week we had lots of fun with our topic of Transport. We made traffic light cards and paddle stick planes in Art and craft.
In Science on Wednesday morning we focused on STEM and velocity. The children were so engaged in predicting and hypothesising the outcome of our experiment and were really interested in working out why they were wrong in some cases. We will definitely be expanding on this in the future programs.
In cooking we made Traffic light biscuits and we ended the week with Hot wheels, colouring sheets and the cars movie.
This week as everything continues to bud and bloom in our beautiful school grounds we spent the week learning all about flowers and plants. We made flower style foccacia bread, flower crowns, painting and naming 100 flowers without google .. haha harder than you think !

Watch this space !! Advertised here in the next newsletter. As mentioned all new preps will receive their enrolment packs in the coming weeks at their transition session.
Next week we are so excited as we begin Advent and the countdown to Christmas Friday 1st December also means first day of Summer so we will be celebrating the Summer in our program and hoping that the weather is kind to us for our activities !
We will also be busy decorating our service and preparing for our Christmas fun week !
