St A's Sports Report

In this week’s sports report, we would like to recognise the outstanding efforts and hard work of all 5/ 6 students who competed in the Girls and Boys Bayside District Cricket Day last Friday the 17th of November at Ballam Park.

22 students attended the cricket day and participated in 3 rounds of cricket competing against different schools from our district.

It was a tough day with our girl's team placing 4th and our boy's team placing 2nd overall. All students should be incredibly proud of themselves for their hard effort and determination on the day!

Throughout the past few weeks in sports from prep-grade 6,  all students have participated in a range of striking and fielding small-sided games focussing on sports such as Cricket, Tennis, and Newcombe.

Throughout participating in these sports students have been provided with opportunities to enhance their striking, throwing, catching, running, positioning, balance, and teamwork skills.

It has been a jam-packed term 4 so far and all students should be incredibly proud of their continuing participation and team work throughout all sport lessons.
