Year 6 Online Digital Journey

SESSION 1

CYBER SAFETY & DIGITAL WELLBEING

We're excited to share a glimpse into what our Year 6 students recently explored in a special one-time webinar focused on 'Cyber Safety and Wellbeing.' As our young learners step into the dynamic world of secondary school, their online experiences become more intricate, shaping their safety, integrity, and overall wellbeing.

During this insightful session, students delved into essential topics such as:

  •  Digital citizenship laws, including discussions on cyberbullying and responsible image sharing.
  •  Opportunity to reflect on common mistakes made by teens online, gaining valuable insights to make informed digital choices.

The webinar also empowered our students to take charge of their online privacy by leveling up their settings on social networks and online games. Importantly, they learned where to turn for help if they encounter challenges in the digital realm.

We're proud to see our Year 6 students actively engaging with these crucial aspects of online life, developing the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital landscape responsibly.
