St Luke’s Swimming Trials
Recently we held our school Swimming Trials and it was nice to see so many students participating in this event. It was a nice afternoon to see students supporting each other while participating and challenging themselves in the swimming pool. All students are to be commended for their outstanding effort. A huge thank you to all the friends and families that attended this event and supported our students. Another thank you to Ms Bear, Ms Mitchell, Mrs Roach, Mr Rodwell, and Mrs Sluiter for their support and help in ensuring this event ran smoothly.
Qualifying times for the next events have now been received. A list of students that have qualified for the Blacktown Zone Primary Swimming Carnival and the PDSSSC (Secondary) Swimming Carnival will be listed on the sports notice board at school next week. Please ask your children to check the list posted in the Marketplace. Feel free to also send me an email (spaz@parra.catholic.edu.au) if your child is not able to check the notice board.

Parramatta Diocesan Tennis Trials
Congratulations to Lleyton for his recent accomplishment of being selected on the Parramatta Diocesan Primary Tennis Team. Lleyton played against students from all over the Diocese and finished placing second. A wonderful achievement! Lleyton will now participate at the MacKillop Tennis Trials next year.
