Medication

Please make sure that your child's medical information is up to date on Operoo and that you have attached all relevant medical forms.

As previously mentioned, MACS have a new Administration of Medication Policy ("AMP") and Medication Authority Form ("MAF") which is now required for any medication that is administered at school.  (Please note that you do not need to complete this for anaphylaxis/epipen as they have their own separate forms).

Without this completed form we will not be able to administer any medications at school.

We are in the process of setting this up so it can be uploaded onto Operoo so that you don't have to provide the school with a hard copy.  We will keep you posted.

Volunteering

For anyone thinking of volunteering at the school this year, please complete the following:

1.Read the Child Safety Briefing for Volunteers 2024 and complete the Child Safety Volunteer Questionnaire

2.Read all the relevant policies contained in the briefing.

Please note that even if you have completed the Child Safety training in previous years, you are required to do so again for the 2024 school year.

Car Park Etiquette

🔴Entrance to the car park is from 8.30am – 9.05am and then from 3.00pm to 3.30pm daily.

🔴Unless attending morning mass or you have an appointment at school you should not be parking in the car park at any other time.

🔴When entering the car park follow the traffic flow (clockwise direction only).

🔴Drive slowly and cautiously at all times.  If parking remember to drive slowly, indicate you are parking and reverse park every time.  Make sure you give space for the car in front of you to indicate and reverse park.

🔴Do not overtake at any time.  Do not shortcut, drive against traffic, drive over grass areas or exit in an anti-clockwise direction.

🔴No standing/parking at any time in the following areas – Disability bays, Parish house bays and No standing area (opposite and next to the chapel).

🔴Children are not to disembark from cars in the loop at any time – only at either of the two designated drop off points (indicated in red on the above diagram).

🔴Only cross at the manned zebra crossing.

🔴No parking at any time during the school day on the basketball/netball courts.

🔴If another person is dropping off your children, please ensure they are fully informed about the above procedures.
