Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

Welcome back to our exisiting families and welcome to our new ones.

It was wonderful to be able to greet all our students on Tuesday upon their return to school. I managed to get to each class to say hello and to stress the importance of giving their best this year. The buzz around the school was positive and pleasant.

We do have three new teachers starting this year as well as three returning from family leave. There are also several new LSO's. Over the next few weeks we will feature a short profile of each in the newsletter and our website will be updated shortly so you know the name of each as well as what they look like.

The staff completed their fist aid certification on Monday and next Monday they will complete the next Module of the "Berry Street Training.' Ben will be outlining more about this in the weeks ahead. Again, my apologies for the timing however it was the only opportunity that we could book the necessary training.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish Chris Williams (Yr 6CW teacher) all the best. His wife is due any day with their first baby (boy). I will keep you updated.

I have finally sourced a third playground company for our Ninja playground. The money raised last year has been set aside for the project and the sooner the better we can turn the first sod.
