Junior School Ensemble Night

On Tuesday 7 November, the ASC community witnessed an incredible show as students from nine different Music Ensembles took to the stage for the annual Junior School Ensemble Night. The students delivered amazing performances and displayed an extremely high standard of excellence and professionalism; a testament to their hard-working directors and teachers.

It was a great celebration of Junior School Music, and the students should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments. At the end of the evening, students took the opportunity to show their appreciation for Ms Irene Batini, who will be leaving at the end of the year after 31 years of service. It was an incredible night celebrating our young musicians, and we look forward to seeing continued participation in the ensembles.

Year 1 Excursion

This week the Year 1 cohort had their first excursion to the WA Museum Boola Bardip, which was an exhilarating and educational experience. On arrival at the museum, the students were greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of life-sized dinosaur and megafauna replicas, capturing the imagination of these budding young palaeontologists.

In small groups they had the chance to explore the fascinating exhibits about dinosaurs and fossils. One of the highlights of the visit was the educational workshop titled ‘Dinosaurs Don't Roar’. This hands-on experience engaged the students in a fun and informative way.

A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make this excursion such an enriching experience.
