Information Night and Orientation Day for Our Year 7 Students & Families in 2024

The Year 7 Information Evening promotes seamless the integration of both students and families into our school community.

The event cultivates a supportive environment where new families, connect with teachers and support staff in warm conversation.

Students acquaint themselves with teachers, assimilate into school facilities, and familiarise themselves with spaces and locations, ensuring smooth transition and familiarity with our campus.

By engaging with our educators, understanding the school’s layout, and interacting with the community, families are partners in their child's educational journey.

This in turn fosters a sense of belonging, facilitating an informed and comfortable entry into Year 7.

A great start for our new students and families.

Year 7 Orientation Day

At Lalor North Secondary College, our Orientation Day on December 12th in Victoria is all about making sure students have a smooth move into their new classes for 2024. We believe that starting on the right foot is crucial for a successful educational journey. It's not just about stepping up a grade; it's about stepping into a new phase of learning.

We want our students to feel at ease as they transition into their new classes. That's why we've designed this day to help them get to know their teachers and classmates who will be alongside them for the next six years.

By fostering these early connections, we aim to create a sense of belonging and community from day one.

But our commitment doesn't stop there. We take pride in offering numerous opportunities for our students to become familiar with Lalor North and feel comfortable within our school community. Whether it's through extracurricular activities, support programs, or simply creating a welcoming environment, we strive to ensure that every student feels valued and supported throughout their educational journey with us.

At Lalor North, our Orientation Day is more than just a day; it's a philosophy. It's about setting the stage for a positive and fulfilling educational experience, ensuring that our students are not just stepping into a new class but stepping confidently into their future.
