Instrumental Music

This term the music department has been busy! We held our Semester 2 Music Night on October 19 and it was great! All the performers did a fantastic job presenting their pieces and supporting each other throughout the night. 

The Rising Stars band has now begun some more challenging repertoire that we will perform next year and the VCE Ensemble performed on Sunday November 5 at the market in Warburton.

The Legends band has now turned their focus onto a number of other performances. On Monday 30th of October we travelled to Lilydale Heights College for an all day rehearsal for our combined tour to WA in February. After that full day of rehearsing we headed back to school and had band after school to begin our preparations for two other performances. We performed at the Healesville Remembrance Day Service at the RSL on November 11 and the Legends are also performing at the Healesville Christmas Carols on December 9.

As you can see, as the school year winds down for many, we are still very much full steam ahead and have some really great things to look forward to.
