Chamon's Cup

Over the last few weeks, our Year 6 Health Pillar Leaders have supported in organising and facilitating the Chamon's Cup - a table tennis tournament with a long-standing history at BPPS. First, we held our 3/4 tournament, followed closely by a hotly-contested 5/6 tournament last week. Across both of these tournaments, we had over 100 students join to play, which was a fantastic turnout! Well done to all students who participated and helped to make the tournaments such a great success. Special shout out to our top four finishers in each tournament,

Grade 3/4 Tournament

1st Jayden W and Baron N , 2nd Jonathan L and Nathan S, 3rd Daniel S and Yixing S, 4th Ava M and Angelina Y

Grade 5/6 Tournament

1st Marcus K and Anthony L, 2nd Lucas A and Harry E, 3rd Baron N and Jayden W, 4th Valentine C and Alana H

You might notice Jayden's and Baron's names in both sections in the list . These Year 3 superstars won the 3/4 tournament and then made it all the way to the semi finals of the 5/6 tournament after getting a wildcard entry into the tournament with the big kids! Well done as well to our Health Pillar Leaders, who did such a great job organising and running these tournaments this term.

Swimming Trials for 2024

Earlier this week you will have received an email through Compass about 2024 Swimming Trials. If your child is a competent swimmer that will be in Years 3-6 next year and is interested in representing BPPS at District Swimming in 2024, please read this Compass message on Compass and complete the accompanying Google Form. All registrations must be in by December 15th, as the number of students that are signed up will determine the format of the trials in early 2024. If you need further information, please email me directly at philip.wickham@education.vic.gov.au.

Thanks!
