 Digi-tech enthusiasts take on Sydney

Year 10 students, Ava Schultz and Madeleine Ambrose recently travelled to Sydney for three days of work experience as part of their involvement in the Day of AI Australia. Highlights of the trip included receiving a behind-the-scenes tour of the Canva head office (an Australian graphic design company), pictured, and learning the ropes at Rokt - a global leader in ecommerce technology. What an incredible learning experience for you both!

A berry good time in Kinder! 

Picking their own strawberries and then sampling the fresh, delicious fruit was all in a day's work for the Kinders, who ventured out to Littlewood Berry Farm at Richmond last week. Along with sticky hands and faces, the students also gained a new understanding of farming sheep thanks to resident farmer Sophie. 

Soccer super stars

Year 2 boys had a ball kicking the soccer ball around with Millie, our School Therapy Dog, who showed off her fancy footwork and impressive skills during a friendly game on the College Green. 

Year 8 Parliament role-play

Year 8 HaSS students swapped their classrooms for the House of Assembly recently, where they learned about the structure of government and how laws are created in Australia's democratic system of government. A law-making role-play activity in the Legislative Council Chamber added an extra layer to their learning!
