Year 8 VCD City Apartment

Students had to create a futuristic City Apartment based on the techniques used by the architect Emad Zand.  The starting point was to arrange random objects to form a building shape. The drawing was created manually tracing the photo and then altering it in a creative way to produce their new apartment building. 

Year 9 Drink Label

Students investigated how designers glamorise products in order to attract the consumer’s attention. They applied this knowledge to create a label to promote their new drink. Students either used manual drawing techniques or utilised Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create their final design.

Year 10 House Extension

Students were given a brief where the client required an extension to their existing house. Plans had to be drawn to scale and a three-dimensional building produced using SketchUp. Students then had to market the property by producing a Real Estate flyer. 

Year 10 Visual Arts - Figurative Cubist Paintings

The Year 10 Visual Arts class have just completed a painting unit focusing on Cubism and the human figure. The students investigated the work of Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque before developing their final compositions using synthetic polymer paint on canvas.
