Congratulations to two of our saxophone students who have successfully completed their Australian Music Examination Board Repertoire assessments. Oisin O’Riley presented for his first AMEB assessment at the grade 6 level and achieved a very good result. There are basically eight grades in the AMEB so to achieve grade six as a first assessment is quite outstanding.

Similarly, Peter Siani has achieved a High Distinction A+ with his grade two AMEB assessment. This is again quite outstanding and demonstrates the calibre of our musicians at Glen Eira College. Very well done to Peter Siani!

On another note, I wish to thank all the instrumental musicians and vocalists who performed at our recent Gala Soiree. It was an excellent evening of entertainment delivered by a group of selfless and talented musicians.
