Year 7 Humanities Fieldwork

On the 15th of November the Year 7 cohort visited the Watsonia Shopping Precinct to undertake data collection and fieldwork for their unit on liveability in Humanities classes.

Students observed numerous factors including safety and security, traffic flow and controls and provision of community services.

This week the students will be completing their common assessment task, using their data to investigate the similarities and differences between Watsonia and Roskilde, a suburb of Copenhagen.

The above photograph is of the students at the offices of the North East link, looking at a scale model of the boring machines that will be used to create the tunnels which will extend the Greensborough bypass through to the eastern freeway.
