School Captain's Message

Hello Teachers, Students, and Parents of WVPS, 

We would like to share our report of recent events, such as our Active Travel School Program, creating safe walking and biking paths to promote active travel. We spray painted 4 paths from different locations for kids to walk, scooter or bike and to reduce traffic. 

On Friday 24th November, the school captains and the JSC were amazed to see so many students participate in the launch by walking and riding to school. Many walked with their parents and friends which was awesome to see.  

As the weather gets warmer, we will continue to encourage students to walk even a little way to school to support the program and get fit! 

We are looking forward to the end of term graduation for grade 6 on the 18th of December and will miss this school which we served for the year, but are also looking forward to a new beginning.
