Thalgarrah 3/4 Camp

What a fun HOT couple of days our year 3/4 students had at Thalgarrah last week on Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th December. The scorching heat added an extra layer of challenge to the activities, making it essential to adapt and modify plans to ensure everyone's safety and well-being. Despite the limitations imposed by the weather, the students found creative ways to make the most of their time together.

Even with the extreme heat we embarked on a few short nature walks, discovering the unique flora and fauna of the region. The students learned to appreciate the resilience of the environment in the face of extreme conditions, gaining a deeper understanding of the delicate balance within the ecosystem.

Thalgarrah, with its blend of fun, laughter, exploration and environmental education, left a lasting impression on all who attended. The campers departed not only with stronger friendships and cherished memories but also with a profound appreciation for adaptability and a commitment to caring for the environment in the face of challenges.

Thank you to our parent volunteer, Mr Anthony Rosser for coming on the excursion with us.
